Townsville Artist Market: Meet the Maker is a handmade, invitation-only event celebrating the depth and individuality of our region’s creative community. Presented by Alison Velvin in collaboration with Drill Hall Studio, this market offers something rare — the opportunity for lovers of art and other fine products to connect directly with the hands and hearts behind the work.
This is not a mass-market event. It is an intimate showcase of original, high-quality handmade art and craft, thoughtfully selected to represent the diversity and excellence of artisans from Townsville and surrounding regions. With a limited number of stalls, each maker will present a distinctive body of work, ensuring every table tells its own story.
This will be a market where art is not simply bought, but discovered.
