One day I was sitting at the "Rock Pool" a popular swimming site in Townsville with my feet dangling in the water.  I wondered if I could recreate in glass the rocks that I could see around me .  Tiny barnacles and shells are looped with a sparkly golden thread of seaweed. 
Length of the bead is approx 20mm (0.8 inches).
