One day I was sitting at the "Rock Pool" a popular swimming site in Townsville with my feet dangling in the water.  I wondered if I could recreate the rocks around me in glass.  This is the result - tiny barnacles and shells are looped with a sparkly golden thread of seaweed.   One set is encased - representing the water at high tide.  The other set is not encased-representing the water at low tide.
